Barnsley Sixth Form ... the place to be for A and AS Levels!
From excellent academic resources to great sports and leisure facilities, you will find all you need to gain your chosen qualifications but also an enjoyable and fulfilling experience. This happens in an adult environment with the kind of social development to equip you for university or working life.

Following on from the recent mock inspection from Consultant OFSTED inspectors and the launch of a new visual identity, Barnsley College Principal, Colin Booth was delighted to reveal provisional plans for a new building for Barnsley Sixth Form College.

The AQA Baccalaureate (Bacc) at Barnsley College offers additional experiences to a straight A level course.


Each learner is allocated a Progress Tutor who can help motivate you and keep you on track for success, while keeping an eye on your progress.
This helps enable you to reach your full potential, both academically and socially.

Barnsley College has the widest choice of A levels in the area, with the added benefit of also being able to mix vocational subjects into your learning programme. You can pick subjects you enjoy and those which will fit in with your career plans, while widening your skills and knowledge.
