SKILLS FOR LIFE
Barnsley College offers a wide range of Skills for Life classes to adult learners.
Classes take place both in the daytime and evening at the Old Mill Lane site. You can join the programme at any time of the year.
You will be assessed before you join a class to make sure that you are in the best class for you.
The courses on offer include; Literacy, Numeracy and ESOL.

TRAIN TO GAIN
Are you employed, aged 19 or over and looking to gain new skills? If so, you could be eligible to receive free training.
Train to Gain is a Government funded initiative enabling employees to up-skill and gain recognised qualifications. Train to Gain helps match the right skills to the right job, offering various accredited training, NVQs for example, at Level 2 and 3, Skills for Life and ESOL courses to a wide range of industries and companies.
