Childcare Funding

Care to Learn

Students who have childcare responsiblities and are under the age of 20 on the day their learning program begins are encouraged to apply to the Care to Learn Scheme for help with childcare costs and associated travel costs.

Free Childcare for Training & Learning For Work Scheme
Students who are over the age of 20 and fulfill the following criteria are encouraged to apply for childcare funding through the Free Childcare & Learning for Work Scheme.

Students must not be working and have: One or more children under the age of 14, have a partner who is working full time or over 16 hours per week and have a household income of 20,000 or less.

LSF Childcare Fund
Students aged over 20 years maybe eligible to apply for childcare funding from the Learner Support Fund (LSF), subject to income assessment. Applications to the LSF for childcare are dealt with on a first come first served basis. The College cannot guarantee every application due to limited funding.
