Up, Up and Away for IPod Winner Gabrielle Bailey was the delighted recipient of an iPod Touch after entering a competition held at Barnsley College. Gabrielle, 14, from Suffolk found a Barnsley Sixth Form College balloon in a field following the launch of the new visual identity. The silver balloon caught her eye and so she picked it up and decided to send it off. The College received more than a hundred entries from across the country and even as far away as France and Holland. Over 1000 balloons were launched back in April and Gabrielle was delighted to receive a call from the College to let her know that she had been drawn out of the hat. Barnsley College will hold its Graduation ceremony on Friday 1st October 2010 at 12.00pm at Barnsley Town Hall.
Barnsley College and Fosters Bakery formalised their working relations
with an official partnership signing event on Tuesday 14th September. 
Barnsley College were delighted to find out that they had made it
through to the regional final of the National Training Awards. Following
a visit from the judges, the College has now progressed on to the
regional final where the winners will be announced in September.
