Barnsley College is responding to feedback in learner forums by raising the awareness of the amount of recycling carried out at the College. Feedback received in learner forums revealed that students felt that the College did not do enough recycling, however the College are now able to track the amount of recycling carried out each month.

The College has renewed its waste recycling contract with DTS and recycled 85% of all waste material in February. The College are now asking students and staff to get behind the campaign to increase the amount of recycling carried out throughout College and make sure that everyone makes use of the bins provided.

It is hoped that by promoting how much recycling is taking place each month, both students and staff will join together in a bid to increase the amount of recycling that takes place within College.
